And this was the most important factor when deciding about construction of the coating line for RM Aluminium s.r.o., the manufacturer of window and door systems, handrails and other parts of the buildings, in Prievidza.

Project description

To keep high quality of coated aluminium profiles RM Aluminium s.r.o. chose verified chemical technology by ALUFINIISH, the German manufacturer of chemical preparations.

The ENVIROX “NR” system with certified preparation Alficoat 748/3 for Qualicoat and GSB International is implemented in the immersion pre-treatment for aluminium material.

For other materials, primarily for steel constructions, we chose another Alufinish preparation named Ferrophos 7768/3 for iron phosphating in the chamber spray booth.

Handling above immersion pre-treatment baths is provided by the manipulator with possible re-suspension of the hanger with profiles directly to the manual overhead conveyor that links all parts of the technology. After pre-treatment and drying of parts the process continues with manual application of powder paint in plastic booth that makes transfer to another colour easier and faster and reduces the risk of contamination. The fire extinguishing system with flash detection directly in the booth is a matter of course. Painted parts are automatically moved through the booth using automatic transfer. Thus, the operators do not have to move the hangers with products manually and they can fully concentrate on the quality of coating. The process is completed by curing the applied powder paint in a gas-heated furnace and subsequent hanging down of the products.
