On Friday, 18 October 2019, we took advantage of the beautiful autumn weather and set out with our production colleagues to the foot of the Jeseníky Mountains.
We took part in an interesting excursion to the hydro power plant called Dlouhé Stráně. We visited not only the underground part of the power plant with the lower reservoir, but also climbed to the upper reservoir to an altitude of 1,350 m above sea level. It is a completely unique work, while also being the highest body of water in the Czech Republic.
The next stop was the Holba brewery in Hanušovice, where we were guided by a nice guide, who taught us all about beer production.
We ended the day tasting Hanušovice beers in the local brewery restaurant.
